Purchase terms for PostDo credit
PostDo is free. AI analysis of letters runs on credit you buy. This page explains what you get for it and what you do not.
Provider
Refki Meholli · DevRef Softwareentwicklung, Cusanushof 54, 41812 Erkelenz, Germany.
What you buy
You buy credit for AI analysis of letters through our server: summary, title and date, letter help and reply drafts. Your balance is kept in credits; packs of 500, 1,100 and 2,500 credits are offered. How many credits an analysis costs depends on the computing effort at the AI provider. If the AI provider changes its prices, we may adjust the ratio between credits and computing effort for the future; an analysis then costs correspondingly more or fewer credits. Credit already purchased keeps its value. It is not a subscription, nothing renews and nothing is charged automatically.
Price and payment
The price is shown in the app before you buy and includes VAT. The purchase runs through the App Store; your payment contract is with Apple, and Apple issues the receipt.
How credit is spent
- The actual usage of an analysis is deducted, not a fixed amount per letter
- A long letter costs more than a short one; reading title and date only costs the least
- An amount is reserved before the analysis, settled against real usage afterwards, and anything over-reserved comes back
- If an analysis fails, nothing is deducted
- Filing letters yourself, to-dos, reminders and everything without AI stay free and work without any credit
Validity and device binding
Credit does not expire. It is tied to an anonymous device identifier and can neither be transferred to others nor paid out. The identifier lives in the iCloud Keychain: it survives reinstalling the app and moves to a new iPhone set up with the same Apple ID and iCloud Keychain turned on.
Plainly said: with iCloud Keychain turned off, credit is lost when you switch devices or reset the device. Consumables cannot be re-downloaded through the App Store. Contact us in that case and we will look for a solution.
Right of withdrawal
For digital content the right of withdrawal ends once performance begins with your express consent, meaning as soon as credit is first spent. As long as nothing has been spent, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies.
Refunds are handled by Apple only, because the purchase is made there.
No legal or tax advice
AI summaries, deadlines and reply drafts may contain mistakes. They do not replace legal, tax or other professional advice. Always check tasks, dates and amounts against the original letter before you act.
Availability
AI analysis depends on our server and an external AI service. Outages, maintenance and changes to the model in use are possible. Should the service be discontinued permanently, we will say so in the app and refund unused credit on request.
