Zhol

Zhol brings the classic card game to iPhone and iPad. Draw cards, build sets and runs, and lay down your whole hand. Play on your own against bots or open an online table for two to six people, you only pick the number of players, share the invite link, and the match starts once everyone is ready.

What Zhol looks like

The final card goes sidewaysOnce you have laid everything down, slide your final card sideways onto the draw pile to end the round.
Your handYour cards are fanned out at the bottom, jokers included. Your opponents sit at the top.

The rules in short

  • Up to four players use two decks: 108 cards with four jokers. From five players a third deck is added: 160 cards, still four jokers.
  • You draw a card and discard one. The goal is to lay down all ten cards in your hand in valid sets and runs.
  • Whoever lays down wins the round. Everyone else gets penalty points for cards that are not part of any combination.
  • Fewer points are better. Whoever wins three rounds first wins the match.

Yes. The app is free. Ads only appear if you choose to watch a video for coins, and optional support gives no gameplay advantage.

Do I lose my progress if I delete the app?

No. Your progress is also backed up in your device's keychain. With iCloud Keychain turned on, you will find it again on a new device.
